YouTuber of the Month
This is a tradition started all the way back in 2011 as a means to help smaller channels be discovered and game some additional exposure. Each month a winner is selected via votes in the comments section. That winner goes on to choose their 5 nominees, 5 other channels for viewers to discover and the process is repeated to select another winner for YouTuber of the Month. At the end of the year, all of the winners of YouTuber of the Month are then placed in the running to host for the following year.
Community Support
YouTuber of the Month is a great way to show your support in the community by encouraging the discovery of new and smaller channels and great content. It's a way for the community to have a voice as it's their vote that decides both YouTuber of the Month and who hosts.
