The Sega Genesis and Mega Drive continue to get new games some 20 years after their last game was shipped. While consoles like the Super Nintendo, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation 1 still do not have a significant indie dev scene, Sega’s 16 Bit console is getting a rate of new games not seen since the heights of the console. In today’s show, we have a look at 2 games that were released in 2017 and 2018 for the Mega Drive including one that originally came out on the Amiga 500.
