Final Fantasy 7 Remake carries a lot of hope and a ton of hype. But, can it live up to it? The original Final Fantasy 7 was game changing when it released in 1997 for the original Playstation. FF7 was the first Final Fantasy game to be in 3d, but with that comes growing pains. In particular, the graphics haven’t aged all that well and fans of the original may have fond memories, but will a complete remake be enough to show longtime critics what all of the hype has been about over the years? Will new gamers be able to experience the same levels of nostalgia from this game as the original did to me? I talk about a few of these points in today’s video while giving my thoughts on the remake demo, the original game and what I hope it can do.
